activities

The Cluster MinIT organizes and endorses various yet synergistic activities, which are open to the public or private for its members, such as:

– events: seminars, dissemination events, exhibitions and workshops;
– the newsletter;
– projects: e.g., public-private research projects.

Projects

Within the framework of the Action Plan, the cluster has focused on two projects presented by some of its members and other partners, addressing cross-sectoral themes for various supply chains and sectors of Made in Italy:

the GIOTTO project, dedicated to new processes related to the circular economy, with the study of applications in the wood-furniture, textile-clothing and agrifood sectors;

the FUNK ITALY project, dedicated to research, design and prototyping of innovative products through functionalization able to give highly performing properties to products, with a focus on fabrics and leathers and their many uses.

Working groups

MinIt enabled 3 topic-related workgroups that promote the interaction between universities, companies, innovation hubs, land development agencies, and other paramount stakeholders engaged in Made in Italy. These actors discuss strategic themes for this sector such as circular economy, new business models and traceability.
